There has always been various philosophies on degrees of winning, a hierarchy of success to aspire so to measure next steps and grow from experiences lest we fall into Sisyphus’ hubristic fate. These milestones are attained and measured as part of a plan (I hope) to achieve a defined and reachable goal for sales, marketing, finance, R&D, product launch, distribution…..you know the list. In my mind, these objectives for success MUST be achieved in order for the holistic business to thrive and reach that final focused goal. Win.

After spending numerous dollars and numerous hours in FDA process methodology to align our ISO driven focus in Biocompatibility ISO 10993-1, a clean report. Once again, RC Imaging products have been vetted and proven safe, durable, and best in industry. That is no reason to be complacent of what happens in the real world, every day in Rad Rooms. Blood borne pathogens and body fluid exposure precautions should be consistently used for all patients. Sounds too obvious, especially after 60+ credit hours plus clinical lab time plus exam after exam plus ethical requirements, and who knows many hours of practical OTJ processes you’ve mastered.

Not every invitation has the Plus One clause attached, no matter how hard we wish. So it is my conundrum and challenge to be recognizable, relevant, and current to those that ARE invited to the medical device capital equipment RFP dance in becoming the Plus One in their quest for winning the bid.
Four countries in three weeks and I can confirm our chosen path in radiology accessories and supplies is in a very, very healthy market environment. More players in flat panel manufacturing and radiology capital equipment are emerging every quarter creating opportunity for radiology directors and end users across the globe.
