Lock-N-Secure® & Lock-N-Secure®II Weight Distribution Evaluation
Objective: To measure and evaluate the amount of distributed downward weight applied to the panel protection product, just as it touches the detector.
Reason for Testing: First and foremost, it is the safety of the patient and radiology technologists. Second is to recognize how much added value our panel protection products can produce beyond the manufacture’s detector weight limit specifications.
The results of this test proved that every technologist would have the best equipment accessories on the market, AND the patient should be eased in knowing that essential lowest possible dose is employed regardless of positioning or BMI. Regardless of your FPD weight distribution capacity, testing proved minimal +30% capacity increase.
Lock-N-Secure® & Lock-N-Secure®II Latch Engagement Test
Objective: Conduct latch engagement test using the non-grid solution.
Reason for Testing: First and foremost, RC Imaging’s objective is to supply a safe, reliable product for the patient and radiology technologists. This test will help create a certified specification for our products. The latch is integrated into the frame to secure the Detector, so it does not fall out of the frame during examinations and handling. The Latch engagement is critical to the function of this product.
The results of this test surprised us. The Lock-N-Secure® solutions scores for integrity were exponentially better than any competitive product available. Be secure in knowing that when you pull to release the detector from under a patient, the detector STAYS in the encasement and does not go skipping across the surface of your room or tent area.
